Initial situation
The canton of Schaffhausen wanted to further strengthen its position as a pioneer in the field of e-government. The aim was to create a user-friendly mobile platform that would give citizens secure and direct access to government services - anytime, anywhere.
Deployment of our solution
After a successful four-month pilot phase, the “Schaffhausen eID+” was introduced. This platform, which was developed in collaboration with the Swiss company Procivis and the IT services of the canton and city of Schaffhausen, now offers a wide range of services, from tax administration and residents' affairs to employment and child protection authorities. The app enables citizens to securely store and manage documents and deal with authorities digitally without additional logins and passwords.
Result
The introduction of the “Schaffhausen eID+” has significantly improved the accessibility and efficiency of administrative services. Around 100 citizens tested the app during the pilot phase, which led to a positive response and an expansion of the available services. The canton was able to digitize its administrative processes and increase user satisfaction while ensuring security and data protection.
