The city of Zug was faced with the challenge of modernizing communication between parents, teachers and caregivers. The previous system of direct communication and paper communication was not only time-consuming, but also inefficient -this led to delays and loss of information.
Use of our solution
The city of Zug implemented the central school portal within the eZug app based on the Mobile Government Platform. The portal allows parents, teachers and caregivers to share important information such as absences and events quickly and securely. During implementation, special functions were added to simplify communication while ensuring security and data protection.
Result
Since the introduction of the school portal in the eZug app, over 97% of parents and guardians have registered. The platform has significantly simplified and improved communication between stakeholders, resulting in higher satisfaction and less miscommunication.
The digital platform not only facilitates communication, but also significantly reduces the administrative burden by speeding up processes and saving paper costs. The system improves data security and ensures that only authorized users have access to sensitive information.
